Review by Mr. OLIVIER R. Posted on 10/28/2019

A broken promise. It is difficult to produce a fresh, light wine from the beautiful but late-ripening Mourvèdre grape. The color lives up to its name, but the wine sorely lacks definition and clarity. With low alcohol content, the wine seems to lack maturity; there is little to no fruit, and the nose is very subtle. The palate lacks depth and character. Admittedly, this is a wine made with short maceration intended to quench thirst, but here it is far too brief and soulless. It’s truly a shame, as there is a clear vision here, but it falls short of its potential.
