Winemaking

Direct pneumatic pressing, rigorous settling, and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at a low temperature of approximately 15°C. Oak staves are used to impart length and vanilla notes on the finish.

About the estate:

Charles-Henri Gayet, a wine merchant and owner of the Adrien Vacher estate, took over this winery in 2000. Founded in 1953 at the foot of Mont Granier, the estate has expanded from 7 to 30 hectares, and its wines—both white and red—are regularly featured in the Guide.
