"A really lovely range of flavors!"

Red in color with purplish highlights, this Mondeuse has delicate peppery notes and a scent of candied red berries. It features lovely tannins that remain supple on the palate. This Mondeuse pairs wonderfully with beef ribs, game, and red meats in sauce, which help balance its peppery tannins. It also pairs very well with a nice cheese platter.

About the estate:

Charles-Henri Gayet, a wine merchant and owner of the Adrien Vacher estate, took over this winery in 2000. Founded in 1953 at the foot of Mont Granier, the estate has expanded from 7 to 30 hectares, and its wines—both white and red—are regularly featured in the Guide.
