Palate

Smooth with well-controlled intensity, featuring a beautifully dense and full-bodied texture; the unique limestone terroir gives this Malbec that essential touch of acidity needed for the wine’s balance both in its youth and during aging. The tannins are beautiful, pronounced, and refined, with a long finish featuring notes of licorice and menthol—concentrated and refined.

Germain Croisille, who has transformed the estate founded by his parents, has mastered the technique to the point of producing wines of rare subtlety, while remaining true to the traditional style of Malbec from the Causse. Subtle extraction and deep ripeness characterize wines that are ready to drink now yet capable of aging.
