Clos Thou
For four generations, Clos Thou has been perpetuating its history on the hillsides of La Chapelle-de-Rousse, in the heart of the most prestigious terroirs of the Jurançon appellation. Certified organic since 2010, Henri Lapouble-Laplace passionately cultivates the vineyard's emblematic grape varieties: Petit and Gros Manseng, as well as traditional varieties that had long been forgotten, such as Lauzet, Camaralet, and Petit Courbu.
Clos Thou expresses all the richness of the Jurançon puddingstone soils. Thanks to late harvesting and passerillage, the grape varieties reveal a unique aromatic palette, reflecting a preserved and authentic terroir. The estate's wines are distinguished by their liveliness and expressive aromas, capable of standing the test of time with rare intensity and singular grace.
