For four generations, Clos Thou has carried on its legacy on the hillsides of La Chapelle-de-Rousse, in the heart of the Jurançon appellation’s most prestigious terroirs. Certified organic since 2010, Henri Lapouble-Laplace passionately cultivates the vineyard’s iconic grape varieties: Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, as well as long-forgotten traditional varieties such as Lauzet, Camaralet, and Petit Courbu.
Clos Thou fully expresses the richness of Jurançon’s poudingue soils. Thanks to late harvesting and sun-drying, the grape varieties reveal a unique aromatic palette, reflecting a preserved and authentic terroir.
