Wine rated (2026 guide) 88/100

Domaine rated (guide 2026) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the domain :

In the same family for four generations, this estate is located on the slopes of La Chapelle-de-Rousse, home to some of the appellation's most renowned terroirs. In addition to the traditional petit and gros mansengs, Henri Lapouble-Laplace strives to grow other traditional Jurançon grape varieties (organically, certified since 2010): lauzet, camaralet and petit courbu. This area produces particularly lively, fragrant wines that age with rare grace and intensity. It's a shame to drink them too young, before they've developed all the aromatic complexity they're capable of, including those precious notes of black truffle that contribute to Jurançon's magic. Intense and full of panache, these cuvées don't ride the wave of lesser acid wines!
