Rated estate (2011 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the estate:

"With as much energy and enthusiasm as in the early days of Souch, Yvonne Hegoburu devotes herself full-time to this magnificent estate in the village of Laroin. A proponent of soil cultivation, this property is a perfect example of biodynamic viticulture in Jurançon and produces high-quality wines. Rigorous work in the vineyard (planted at an altitude of 300 meters) is complemented by careful sorting at harvest time and meticulous vinification, resulting in flawless wines. Lovers of great whites will be delighted with this very distinguished production."
