About the wine:
Huilkrans 2024 is a pure Chenin from bush vines planted between 1974 and 1989 at an altitude of 450 meters. The nose is fairly discreet, with very seductive aromas of yellow plum, brioche, tangerine and light wax. The palate is well-balanced, with good tension and elegance, the minerality expressing itself nicely on the finish. Very harmonious, this wine is perhaps one of Chris Alheit's most elegant cuvées this year. Sophisticated. 2026-2039
