Wine rated (2025 guide) 93/100

About the wine:

Cartology 2024 is made from fruit picked early in the morning, naturally fermented and aged for 12 months on fine lees. It offers lilting aromas of orange, kumquat and hints of white flax in the background, well-defined but needing time to blossom. The palate is well balanced, with a slightly waxy attack, quite spicy with a hint of white pepper, leading to a taut, refreshing finish that lingers wonderfully on the palate. One of Cape Town's emblematic wines continues to go from strength to strength, but I recommend decanting for an hour or two. 2026-2040
