Alheit Vineyards
After working in California, Australia, France and Germany, Suzaan and Chris Alheit set up their own estate from scratch in 2010, at Hemelrand in the Walker Bay region of South Africa.

Right from the start Alheit are convinced that Cape Town's greatest viticultural potential lies in its white wines. Domaine Alheit therefore focuses on the production of white wines, mainly from old Chenin Blanc vines. Production methods are very natural: Suzaan and Chris Alheit use only indigenous yeasts to make their wines, and intervene very little during vinification.

The Alheit family grows vines in various areas of the Coastal Region: Paardeberg, Stellenbosch (Radio Lazarus), Franschhoek (La Colline), False Bay...

The Alheit wine range comprises five cuvées: two made from 100% Chenin Blanc vieilles vignes (parcel selections), a parcel selection made from 100% Semillon, and two blended wines.
