About the estate:
Cathy Faller works alongside her sons Eddy and Théo. The vast vineyard produces finely structured, fruity wines. The finest wines come from the surrounding hillsides: the Furstentum and Altenbourg grands crus and the Schlossberg, which shines in its crystalline interpretation of Riesling. Le Clos des Capucins is one of those magical, elusive, timeless places. It is rare to find a place with so much energy and history, producing wines of such purity. Supported by her two sons, Eddy and Théo, Catherine Faller is at the helm of the estate, deploying rare energy to maintain the highest quality wines and keep the estate warm and welcoming. Her son Théo pays close attention to the vines, which have been cultivated biodynamically since 2005 across the entire estate, while Ghislain Berthiot, who has been with the estate for several years, is in charge of winemaking.
