Sophie and Guillaume Joncy - Morgon Corcelette 2025

Sophie et Guillaume Joncy - Morgon Corcelette 2025

Gamay
powerful
braised meat

“Great length!”

A full-bodied, powerful, and robust wine with aromas of cherry and plum, made from 80-year-old vines. These aromas will really shine when paired with beef cheek or a nice flank steak!

About the estate:

An estate overlooking Mont Brouilly, whose vineyards—certified organic since 2020—cover 28 hectares, with plots in Côte-de-Brouilly, Morgon, Régnié, Chiroubles, and Beaujolais-Villages. Jean-Paul Joncy settled there in 1979, and was later succeeded by his son Guillaume and daughter-in-law Sophie. Since 2018, they have also been selecting wines from the Beaujolais and Mâconnais regions from small family-run estates, their “winemaker friends.”
