This Bordeaux offers an expressive nose, with aromas of ripe red fruits, blackcurrant, and tobacco, as well as a subtle hint of animal notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, supple, and wonderfully generous, with a rich texture and a hint of heather on the finish, which is both rich and well-balanced. A truly excellent Bordeaux!

Rated estate (2016 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

This Poupée vintage from François Janoueix comes from two plots located in the Beauregard sector and the western part of Cheval Blanc. The soil consists of gravel and ancient sand, and the vines are in their radiant fifties.
