Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2018 guide) 15/20 (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (guide 2021) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the wine:
Breed with a very interesting cedar and Havana character, we can still wait for it.
About the domain :
A magnificent chartreuse overlooking the river, Beau-Site enjoys one of the finest panoramic views in the northern part of the appellation. It belongs to Philippe Castéja, who also owns Châteaux Batailley and Trottevieille. The estate produces an elegant, racy wine, always full-bodied without being devoid of finesse or elegance. The estate has turned a corner.

About the wine:
From the Casteja family, Beau-Site 2011 features sweet cherry fruit as well as loamy, earthy, red and darker fruit, medium body and a soft, round finish. This is a solid Cru Bourgeois to drink over the next 4-5 years.
