Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2018 guide) 15/20 (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2021 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About wine:
A breed with a very interesting cedar and havana character, we can expect more from it.
About the estate:
A magnificent charterhouse overlooking the river, Beau-Site enjoys one of the most beautiful panoramas in the northern part of the appellation. It belongs to Philippe Castéja, who also owns the Batailley and Trottevieille châteaux. The estate produces an elegant, distinguished wine that is always full-bodied without lacking finesse or elegance. The property has reached a new milestone.

About wine:
From the Casteja family, the 2011 Beau-Site presents sweet cherry fruit as well as lemony, earthy, red, and darker fruit, medium body, and a soft, round finish. It is a solid Cru Bourgeois to drink in the next 4-5 years.
