"One of the appellation's best bargains, combining elegance and character!
"Spicy with fresh herbs, forest leaves and Asian spices that accompany blackcurrant and blackberry. There's plenty of freshness in the ripe fruit, concentration and a nice touch of cocoa as well as a firm tannic edge allowing the wine to age and evolve. This is clearly the best vintage of Beau-Site ever produced" (Jeff Leve 2022).

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated wine 92/100
Domaine rated (guide 2021) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the wine:
Elegant, precise tannin without heaviness, small red fruit, lovely lingering flavour. Seductive balance.
About the domain :
A magnificent chartreuse overlooking the river, Beau-Site enjoys one of the finest panoramic views in the northern part of the appellation. It belongs to Philippe Castéja, who also owns Châteaux Batailley and Trottevieille. The estate produces an elegant, racy wine, always full-bodied without being devoid of finesse or elegance. The estate has turned a corner.

Wine rated (2020 guide) 90/100
About the wine:
A deep purple color, the attack is clearly austere, but is accompanied by a concentration of blackcurrant fruit and an assured tannic structure. The appellation's signature is clearly present, with a touch of bitterness on the finish, but which remains on the side of coffee grounds. 2024 - 2038

About the wine:
Lots of spicy character here, with nutmeg and cloves complementing the currants and berries. Medium-bodied, with firm tannins and a caressing finish. A solid young red for this estate. Best after 2025 and beyond.

Terre de Vins
Wine rated (2020 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
Owned by the Castéja family, this vineyard is ideally situated on a hillside adjacent to Calon-Ségur. Well within the appellation's typicity, with notes of graphite, zan and black fruits. Surprisingly round on the palate, with mellow tannins and a delicious texture. Nice integration of the merlot-cabernet tandem, with 3% petit verdot giving it pep. Definitely a bargain.

Anthocyanes - Yohan Castaing
Wine rated (2020 guide) 90-92/100
About the wine:
The bouquet of Beau-Site 2019 offers notes of blueberry, blackberry and blackcurrant with a light spicy and graphite undertone. On the palate, the Cabernet Sauvignon tautens the whole with tannins in place, a moderately dense structure and a spicy, mineral finish. Structured, long tannins.
