Château Suduiraut

Château Suduiraut is located in the commune of Preignac, in the Sauternes appellation, at the heart of the five Sauternes villages (Preignac, Sauternes, Bommes, Barsac and Fargues). Christian Seely, Managing Director, leads a team united in their determination to produce a great Sauternes wine recognized today by wine lovers the world over.

The Château Suduiraut estate extends over 200 hectares, including 92 hectares of vines, on a soil composed mainly of sandy-clay gravel. Château Suduiraut's vineyards are managed using sustainable viticulture methods. Thanks to special climatic conditions, Botrytis Cinérea, responsible for noble rot, is combined with a slight over-ripeness that enables the grapes to be harvested at the "roasted" stage, producing some of the finest sweet wines in the Sauternes appellation .
