Nicolas Fèvre - Auxey-Duresses 2023
"A confidential vintage... and that's a shame!"
Auxey-Duresses is located at the entrance to a valley that stretches from the Côte de Beaune into the Hautes Côtes on the road to La Rochepot and Autun. With a ruby color that is neither too light nor too dark, this balance continues on the nose, rich in small fruits such as raspberry and blackcurrant, enhanced with a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is refined and supple from the outset, sappy, tannic, elegantly wooded, without lacking in freshness.

About the estate:
Although Nicolas Fèvre's main activity is consulting in oenology, he created his own small estate in 2014 by taking over part of the family vineyards, which had previously been farmed on a sharecropping basis, in Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses, and Bourgogne-Aligoté.
