"A rare vintage... and that's a real shame!"

Auxey-Duresses is situated at the entrance to a valley that, stretching from the Côte de Beaune, winds its way into the Hautes Côtes along the road to La Rochepot and Autun. Ruby in color—neither too light nor too dark—this balance carries over to the nose, which is rich in berries such as raspberry and blackcurrant, enhanced by a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine reveals itself as refined and supple from the first sip, full-bodied, tannic, and elegantly oaked, without lacking freshness.

About the estate:

Although Nicolas Fèvre’s main profession is wine consulting, he established his own small estate in 2014 by taking over part of the family’s vineyards—previously leased out—in Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses, and Bourgogne-Aligoté.
