About the estate:
Established in Premeaux-Prissey, the village with two churches, Premeaux and Prissey. Jean-Pierre Truchetet settled here in 1980 with his wife Sylvie and cultivates 5.3 hectares. The sixth generation, the winemaker's two children, Morgan and Julie, took over the estate (currently converting to organic farming) in 2019 and created a trading structure to expand their range.

About the estate:
In January 2019, Morgan Truchetet and his sister Julie took over the family estate, which covers just over five hectares, along with a small wine trading business under the name Morgan Truchetet, purchasing grapes directly from the vine. From the outset, Julie and Morgan, who trained in viticulture and oenology at the Beaune wine school, enjoyed their father's complete trust, who gave them complete freedom in working the vines and making wine. Everything here is done to respect the integrity of the grapes: after passing through a vibrating table, the grapes are destemmed for pre-fermentation maceration at 11-12°C for a few days; the temperature of the alcoholic fermentation is controlled, with three to four punch-downs and two to three pump-overs per cuvée. All the work is done by gravity, from vatting to barrel aging, with new barrels limited to 20%. Private customers, who are welcome to visit the winery, will be charmed by the cheerful disposition of these two young winemakers and the aromatic purity of their finest Pinot Noir grapes, a variety that accounts for 80% of the estate's production. The organic farming certification process, which began in March 2020, immediately reveals the estate's lofty ambitions.
