Didier Montchovet

Didier Montchovet founded his estate in 1984, starting with just 0.50 ha of leased land. Today, the vineyard spans 12.70 ha of vines, divided into plots that have been carefully selected over the years.

From the very first year, Didier Montchovet began farming according to biodynamic principles. These biodynamic practices are rigorously applied, in compliance with both the European standards for organic farming and those for Demeter-certified biodynamic farming.

All work at Domaine Didier Montchovet—both in the vineyard and in the cellar—is carried out with respect for the terroir and the vines. This philosophy is reflected in the quality of the wines produced. The success of Didier Montchovet’s wines led the estate to build a new winemaking facility adjacent to the main house, as the original space had become far too small…
