It was in 1973, in the heart of the Chablis vineyards, that Jean-Marc Brocard planted his first vines in Préhy, before building the winery that would become the Jean-Marc Brocard estate a few years later.
His son, Julien, joined the family business in 1995, bringing with him his extensive knowledge of organic and biodynamic agriculture. The Jean-Marc Brocard estate then became one of the most important organic producers in Chablis.
