"While whites tend to outnumber reds in Chassagne, it is a Pinot Noir that puts this estate, nestled among the Morgeot vineyards, in the spotlight, with a wine born from a plot adjacent to the cellar. The judges praised the depth of the color with its purple hues, the intensity of the nose with its notes of ripe cherry and blackcurrant, and the frank and generous attack, which opens onto a fleshy and structured palate: all the qualities needed to age well." Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2016 guide) 15/20 (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2016 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
The estate was founded by René Lamy (son of Hubert), who purchased land in Chassagne and Saint Aubin. He built up the property, which he passed on to his daughter Florence and son-in-law Sébasien. They have been running the estate for four to five vintages, while still heeding the advice of the previous generation.

About the estate:
René and Thérèse Lamy established this estate in 1977, a sure bet in Chassagne and Saint-Aubin. Their daughters Florence (in 1997) and Karine (in 2004) now manage the 15 hectares of vines with their respective husbands, Sébastien Caillat (in the vineyard) and Daniel Cadot (in sales).

Wine rated (2016 guide) 15/20 (Good wine)
Rated estate (2016 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About the estate:
A family-run estate par excellence, Domaine Lamy-Pillot cultivates 14.5 hectares of beautiful plots in Chassagne-Montrachet. Now run by one of the daughters, Florence, and her husband Sébastien, an oenologist (they have also set up a 2-hectare micro-estate), the estate produces beautiful, clean, modern white wines that are consistently excellent. Karine, the eldest daughter, and her husband Daniel, are responsible for distributing the wines and marketing a selection of Burgundy estates.
