Domaine Jacques Prieur - Corton Grand Cru Bressandes 2013

Bettane & Desseauve
"The Corton Bressandes Grand Cru 2013 is a blend of young and old vines (11 barrels, half of which are new) and, fortunately, was not affected by hail. It is a fragrant wine with a fairly floral bouquet that is purer than some other vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, good acidity, and the new wood is very well integrated in the finish. Very good." (Wine Advocate 2014 - Robert Parker)

About the estate:
Édouard Labruyère's enthusiasm and determination to position this estate among the ranks of the grands crus are remarkable. His efforts are evident in the vineyard, which has been farmed organically since 1997, in the cellar, where foudres and demi-muids have been used since 2012, and, most importantly, in the glass. With its exceptional range of grands crus from 22 hectares of vineyards, including 17 hectares in the Côte de Beaune and an exclusive selection of grands crus in the Côte de Nuits, this estate has all the attributes to join the elite of Burgundy estates.
