Terroir de Fuissé is made from grapes purchased from old vines in Fuissé. The wine is crafted from grapes that were slightly overripe. On the palate, the richness and fruity aromas are supported by well-integrated barrel aging. The wine is generous and full-bodied, and can be cellared for a few years to allow it to open up further.

About the estate:
This estate was spun off from the Igé cooperative winery by Francis Fichet in 1976. His sons, Pierre-Yves and Olivier, who have been at the helm since 1999, now cultivate 35 hectares of vineyards, from which they produce about fifteen different wines made from the four Burgundy grape varieties. A trusted name in the Mâconnais region, the estate expanded in 2006 with the addition of a small wine trading operation.
