Terroir de Fuissé is made from grapes sourced from old vines in Fuissé. The wine is crafted from grapes that are slightly overripe. On the palate, its richness and fruity aromas are supported by well-integrated barrel aging. The wine is full-bodied and has a lovely texture; it can be cellared for a few years to allow it to open up further.

About the estate:
The estate was established by Francis Fichet in 1976, breaking away from the Igé cooperative winery. His sons, Pierre-Yves and Olivier, who have been at the helm since 1999, now cultivate 35 hectares of vineyards, from which they produce some fifteen different wines made from the four Burgundy grape varieties. A reliable choice in the Mâconnais region, complemented in 2006 by a small wine merchant operation.
