"Expressive and elegant aromas of citrus, exotic fruits, flowers... The wine is dense, juicy, full of fruit, elegant, and has a beautiful length on the palate." (Bourgogne Aujourd'hui) Minerality combined with nobility of character... The first of the three monopoles is marked by limestone soil expressing minerality with great finesse. Simply superb.

Bettane & Desseauve
3-star rating (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
Brother and sister Antoine and Bénédicte Vincent run this historic 40-hectare estate, spread across the Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Mâcon, and Juliénas appellations. The soils are worked, viticulture is sustainable, and the wines are aged in barrels from a single cooper to maintain consistency, with a rigorous approach. The wines are sold under a château range and a négociant range. It should be noted that the Clos and Les Brûlées cuvées are classified as premier cru from the 2020 vintage onwards.

About the estate:
This iconic estate in Fuissé now cultivates 40 hectares of Chardonnay on the appellation's finest terroirs. The Vincent family has owned it since 1862, and Antoine, an agricultural engineer and oenologist, has been at the helm since 2003. The 15th-century cellars produce wines of international renown, with 80% sold for export.

About the estate:
This historic estate has belonged to the Vincent family since 1862. The château has many old vines. Since 2003, Antoine Vincent has been producing the major appellations of the Mâconnais region here, including two premier crus in Fuissé, as well as a small 3-hectare vineyard in Juliénas. 2020 allows us to applaud the mastery of wood aging and the more consistent management suited to this great vintage.
