Château Fuissé

Château Fuissé has been owned by the Vincent family since 1862, and it is now up to Antoine, representing the fifth generation, to carry on the estate’s tradition of excellence in the heart of the Mâconnais region. The 40-hectare vineyard is located in the communes of Fuissé and Pouilly, on mid-slopes with a south/southeast exposure.

The clay-limestone soils give Château Fuissé wines both structure and elegance. The vineyards are tended using traditional methods, with sustainable viticulture and exclusively organic fertilizers to preserve the terroirs. The soil is worked on a parcel-by-parcel basis to limit erosion and ensure respect for and authenticity of the land. The vines of Château Fuissé are harvested separately and by hand according to the "climats" and are largely located within the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Finally, traditional Burgundian winemaking and aging for several months in oak barrels make the wines of Château Fuissé undisputed benchmarks of Southern Burgundy.
