“Precise and delicious, according to the 2026 RVF guide—a Pouilly-Fuissé bursting with charm!”

"The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé is made from grapes grown on five different plots. It has a lively nose of green apple, enhanced by notes of Conference pear, with a subtle hint of oak in the background. The palate is well-balanced, with lovely acidity, quite fruity and fresh, though it has slightly less body on the finish. A quality wine. 2025–2030” (Vinous 2025)

Wine rated (2026 guide) 91/100

Rated estate (2021 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the wine:

Compared to the 2023 white Burgundy and the 2023 Mâcon-Solutré, the Pouilly-Fuissé has more depth; it is precise and flavorful.

About the estate:

The Parinet family, owners of Château du Moulin-à-Vent, acquired this 4.2-hectare estate in the village of Pouilly in 2016. Management—from the vineyards to winemaking—has been entrusted to Brice Laffond, who is already in charge of their property in Beaujolais. Their vineyard consists mainly of old vines, cultivated using organic methods without certification. The first vintages suggest that this is one of the leading estates of the future, the emergence of a new and serious competitor in the Mâconnais. The 2017s appeared in the previous edition of our guide alongside the wines of Château du Moulin-à-Vent. Vers Cras, Chailloux, and Bouthières will quite logically become future Premier Crus of Pouilly-Fuissé. The 2018 vintages continue the qualitative ascent of this young estate, beautifully showcasing their terroirs through well-suited aging processes.
