Bourgogne Aujourd'hui
"From the sublime terroir of the Côte Chalonnaise, this velvety and particularly mineral Chardonnay will delight lovers of this grape variety!"
This mid-slope parcel consists of three blocks of different ages: one planted around fifteen years ago, another aged 50 years, and the third over 80 years old. Together, they produce a wine of great balance, elegance, and magnificent length. "A wine that is well worth seeking out. 90-92 / Top quality/price" (Burghound 2024)

Bettane & Desseauve
Winery rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, consistent with what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
The Jaeger-Defaix estate covers 6 hectares in Rully, including 4.5 hectares of premier cru vineyards, certified organic since 2012. Hélène Jaeger-Defaix, an agricultural engineer and oenologist, wife of Didier Defaix (Bernard Defaix estate in Chablis), is at the helm. A viticulture where the soils are plowed and vinification respects the harvest as much as possible in order to let the plots express themselves is beginning to pay off. The 2017 vintage was at its best, with wines of a classic and refined style.

Rated estate Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About the estate:
Hélène Jaeger first took over a plot of Rully Premier Cru in 2002 that had belonged to her great-aunt Henriette Niépce, a descendant of the famous inventor, then the entire estate in 2005. Married to Bernard Defaix, a winemaker in Chablis, she applies the principles of great wines, with worked soils and manual harvesting. The vintages are vinified at the Chablis winery, which has all the necessary equipment; the white wines are aged in barrels.
Burghound
Wine rated (2024 guide) 90-92/100
About wine:
It is aromatically similar to Mont Palais, but with additional notes of petrol and citrus. The medium-bodied flavors are both finer and have a more prominent minerality that lingers in the clean, dry, young, austere, and slightly more persistent finish. It is worth discovering. 2028+ / Top Quality/Price
