With a bright, crystal-clear green-gold color, Les Morats offers a pleasing nose with subtle vanilla notes, along with hints of citrus and exotic fruits. On the palate, it is round and fresh, fruity and ripe, with good structure and a lovely mineral note. The finish features subtle oak. A lovely white wine!

About the estate:

Antoine and Bénédicte Vincent, brother and sister, manage this historic 40-hectare estate, which spans the Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Mâcon, and Juliénas appellations. The soil is carefully tended, viticulture is sustainable, and the wines are aged exclusively in barrels from a single cooper to ensure consistency, in accordance with rigorous standards. The estate offers cuvées marketed under both a château line and a négociant line. It is worth noting that the Clos and Brûlées cuvées have been classified as Premier Cru starting with the 2020 vintage.

This iconic Fuissé estate currently cultivates 40 hectares of Chardonnay on the appellation’s finest terroirs. The Vincent family has owned it since 1862, and Antoine—an agricultural engineer and oenologist—has been at the helm since 2003. About the estate:

This historic estate has belonged to the Vincent family since 1862. The château is home to numerous old vines. Since 2003, Antoine Vincent has been producing wines here from the Mâconnais region’s major appellations, including two Premier Crus in Fuissé, as well as a small 3-hectare vineyard in Juliénas. The 2020 vintage allows us to celebrate the mastery of oak aging and the more consistent winemaking approach suited to this great vintage.
