André Robert Champagne
The Robert family has been cultivating vineyards in the Champagne region of Mesnil-sur-Oger for five generations. The estate André Robert was taken over in 1981 by Bertrand Robert, who is now passing the torch to his daughter Claire, supported by Jean-Baptiste Denizart.

The André Robert Champagne covers 14 hectares, the vast majority of which are classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru. The three classic grape varieties are grown in several municipalities: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Le Mesnil-sur-Oger is an exceptional terroir, consisting of poor, chalky soil and classified as Grand Cru. The vineyard André Robert is divided into a mosaic of small plots, and the best plots are carefully selected to produce a Champagne with a strong personality and great finesse that fully expresses the minerality of this unique terroir. The vineyard of the André Robert Champagne is cultivated in small plots, with respect for the soil and biodiversity, and has been certified as HVE (High Environmental Value).

In the heart of the Côte des Blancs, Chardonnay remains the cornerstone of Champagne André Robert’s blends, 50% of which are vinified in small 228-liter barrels and aged on lees for 8 months before bottling, followed by aging on racks in a chalky cellar for at least 3 to 6 years.
