Champagne Lanson
Founded in 1760, Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne Houses. Based in Reims, this House—which has been in existence for over 260 years—draws on a family heritage and unique expertise. Today, the House Lanson is taking a new direction, with a repositioning of its lineup and a focus on greater complexity in its wines, most of which are Pinot Noir.
The unique and authentic style of Lanson Champagnes is based on four enduring pillars: a meticulous selection of crus, including more than a hundred Grands Crus and Premiers Crus; winemaking according to the original Champagne method, prioritizing winemaking without malolactic fermentation; a rare collection of reserve wines; and extended aging in cellars.
Hervé Dantan, the House's cellar master, carefully crafts elegant wines characterized by their inimitable freshness, fruitiness, and vibrancy.
