Founded in 1760, Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne houses. Based in Reims, this house, which has been in existence for over 260 years, draws on a family heritage and unique expertise. Today, the house Lanson is taking a new direction, with a repositioning of its portfolio and a focus on greater complexity in its wines, the majority of which are Pinot Noir.
The unique and authentic style of Lanson Champagnes is based on four unwavering pillars: a meticulous selection of crus, including over a hundred Grands Crus and Premiers Crus; winemaking according to the original Champagne method, favoring winemaking without malolactic fermentation; a rare collection of reserve wines; and extended aging in cellars.
Hervé Dantan, the house’s cellar master, carefully crafts elegant wines characterized by their inimitable freshness, fruitiness, and vibrancy.
