Le Brun-Servenay - Exhilarante Vieilles Vignes Brut 2006

1*Étoile

Hachette

"A blend of red grape varieties (20% of the two Pinots) complements the Chardonnay and contributes to the rich complexity of this cuvée, vinified as an extra-brut. Notes of toast, marzipan, and kirsch emerge with great nuance, adding fragrance to a wine that is fresh and beautifully balanced. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2015)

About the wine:

A blend of red grape varieties (20% of the two Pinots) complements the Chardonnay and contributes to the rich complexity of this extra-brut cuvée. Notes of toast, marzipan, and kirsch emerge with great nuance, infusing the wine with freshness and a beautiful balance.

About the estate:

Patrick Le Brun, who had been running the family vineyard since 1996 (nearly 7 hectares, most of which are located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs), handed it over in 2017 to his son Gauthier, who represents thefifth generationat the estate. The estate’s cuvées do not undergo malolactic fermentation and are lightly dosed.
