"A Champagne with character"

"The old vines are over 80 years old. Early but cool, 2011 was a good year for Chardonnay. After aging on lees for over nine years, this wine shows beautiful tension and aromas of acacia, golden apple, toasted almond, and dried fig. " (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022)

About wine:

The old vines are over 80 years old. Early but cool, 2011 was a good year for Chardonnay. After aging on lees for over 9 years, this wine shows beautiful tension and aromas of acacia, golden apple, toasted almonds, and dried figs.

About the estate:

Patrick Le Brun, who had been running the family vineyard since 1996 (nearly 7 hectares, most of which are located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs), passed it on to his son Gauthier in 2017, who represents thefifth generationon the estate. The estate's cuvées do not undergo malolactic fermentation and are lightly dosed.
