“A Champagne with character”

“The old vines are over 80 years old. The 2011 vintage, which was early but cool, was ideal for Chardonnay. After aging on the lees for over nine years, this wine displays lovely structure and aromas of acacia, Golden Delicious apple, toasted almond, and dried fig. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022)

About the wine:

The old vines are over 80 years old. The 2011 vintage, which was early but cool, was ideal for Chardonnay. After aging on the lees for over nine years, this wine displays lovely structure and aromas of acacia, Golden Delicious apple, toasted almond, and dried fig.

About the estate:

Patrick Le Brun, who had been running the family vineyard since 1996 (nearly 7 hectares, most of which are located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs), handed it over in 2017 to his son Gauthier, who represents thefifth generationat the estate. The estate’s cuvées do not undergo malolactic fermentation and are lightly dosed.
