"Unique winemaking and a complex terroir give rise to this superb Vermentino"

“A clear, brilliant gold color. A pure, crystalline nose with the beautiful brilliance typical of Vermentino, featuring dominant floral notes accompanied by a subtle woody touch, all with great freshness. On the palate, it offers density and a lively, refined, and dynamic structure. Mineral bitterness is present; the balance is commendable, and the oak will integrate well. A wine that’s perfect as an aperitif and especially pairs well with seafood dishes. Ardeaseal cork.” (Le Guide RVF 2025)

About the estate:

Jean-Raphaël Racine-Grisoli and his brother Jean-Vincent have revived the vineyards of Corsica’s only château—and the southernmost in the Calvi appellation—since purchasing it in 2017. Planting began as early as 2018 and has since expanded to 34 hectares of vineyards. They started from scratch, with virgin soil that they had to “rejuvenate.” Thanks in particular to their agronomist, as well as to Emmanuel Gagnepain—the winemaker behind some of Corsica’s top estates—they thoroughly studied the soils, ensuring that each grape variety is planted in its ideal location. The estate has been Demeter-certified since 2023.
