"A vintage of great style!

"One of the best Barolos of the vintage, this marvel opens with aromas of rose, forest berries, undergrowth and new leather. Superb and simply delicious, the full-bodied palate is full of flavor and finesse, with aromas of crushed raspberry, ripe red cherry, cake spice and licorice, all accompanied by taut, silky tannins. Fresh acidity maintains the balance. Although already fantastic, it also shows great aging potential. Drink between 2024 and 2038. (Wine Enthusiast 2022).

Wine rated ( 2022 guide) 94/100 (Great wine)

Domaine noté (guide 2022) Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)

About the wine:

The 2018 Barolo Conca is dense and beautifully intense with cassis, sour cherry, wild rose and blue lilac. The wine's inner structure is fine and delicate, with light aromas of spice, licorice and toast on the edges. Barolo Conca shows great elegance and a long, refined finish.

About the wine:

Aromas of dried cherries with some spice and a hint of roasted orange peel. Medium- to full-bodied, with a silky texture and an almost creamy mouthfeel. Intense, savory finish. Very fine tannins develop a little towards the end. The overall structure is lighter this year, but the intensity and concentration are not lacking. Drink from 2024.
