"Full of promise..."
"Seductive nose of rosemary, wild cherries, lemon peel, chocolate-covered strawberries, and praline. It is medium-bodied with a lively, fruity palate framed by fine-grained tannins. Everything is in balance. Drink from 2023." (James Suckling 2022)

Wine rated (2022 guide) 93/100
About wine:
As with the 2017 vintage, Laura Brunelli will not be releasing a Riserva. Instead, the Olmo vineyard, which usually forms the backbone of the latter, is an important component of this Brunello annata, making it a pleasant and well-rounded wine. Mint, lavender, and fennel dominate the nose, while sweet and succulent persimmon and crisp pomegranate form the backdrop on the palate, and the chalky tannins are rather sly. The accessibility is superficial, but the substance intrigues and the structure suggests even more. 2023–2033

Wine rated (2022 guide) 93/100
About wine:
The Brunello di Montalcino 2018, with its dark and seductive appearance, bursts from the glass with a blend of crushed plums and black cherries, complemented by hints of rubbed sage. The texture is smooth and deep, engulfing the palate with ripe wild berries and spices, underscored by a hint of herbaceousness. A network of fine tannins persists, creating a truly classic impression, while minty herbs and wild strawberry notes linger and linger. This beauty, masked by youth, will need only minimal aging to give its best. 2025-2033
