Benanti
The estate Benanti can be described as inseparable from Etna, the Sicilian volcano well known for its strong winegrowing history. In fact, the mountain's slopes offer a multitude of terroirs and absolutely unique soil and climatic characteristics. It's for this reason that Benanti was "born" on this volcano to bring out all its magic and richness by bottling it since 1734.
Over the years, it has become one of the leading estates in the Etna appellation, producing excellent wines that express the full character of this unique volcanic terroir. Benanti cultivates and sublimates native grape varieties: the most famous: Nerello Mascalese, but also Nerello Cappuccio in red, and Carricante in white.
Benanti brings out the best in this region, and this is fully evident in the tastings: a marvel of Etna.
