The estate was founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri and remains a family-owned property to this day. Now a fifty-year-old estate, Casanova di Neri can boast of being one of the leading names in quality wine production in Montalcino. 

Casanova di Neri has 63 hectares of vineyards, spread across 7 vineyards located in the Montalcino region, where the primary grape variety is Sangiovese.
