The wine opens with aromas of ripe apples, fragrant jasmine, toasted almonds and delicate acacia honey, with a deep minerality emerging as the wine opens. The textured, layered palate is a work of art, with apricots, baked pears and hints of cinnamon and nutmeg leading to a stunning mineral finish.

About the wine:
This is the only cuvée on the estate to have been aged in oak barrels. Aged in 100% used French and Slavic barrels. Superb aromas of pistachio, peach and dried mango. Broad and expansive, yet transforms into a whirlwind of tension thanks to a freshness that sublimates any sense of obvious power. A wonderful expression of a warmer vintage that suits this fascinating vineyard perfectly. To drink or to keep.
