The fruitiness and finesse of Cinsault are evident in the nose of L'Ampoule 2021, which takes its name from the southern French expression "et si on faisait péter une ampoule !" (let's pop a bottle!), referring here to a bottle of wine. A real gourmet treat that retains the personality of its schist terroir, this delightful cuvée is perfect for sharing with friends.

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the estate:

Since the 1970s, this certified organic estate has been one of the jewels in the appellation's crown, appearing in the Guide with unfailing regularity. Boasting a magnificent terroir of 70 small schist plots (58 hectares) that sculpt the landscape, it now benefits from the expertise of the younger generation, inherited from grandfather Jean and father Bernard Vidal, both former presidents of the appellation.

Beautiful structure with polished tannins, superb soft texture on the palate, maturity of the material well balanced by its acidity. The whole is harmonious.
