"A great classic for this fruity, slightly spicy, and very easy-to-drink Faugères."

Grown on vines located between 200 and 300 meters above sea level, this blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan is the estate's flagship wine. Intense and aromatic, it expresses itself through aromas of red and black fruits, enhanced by delicate hints of sweet spices. It fully embodies the richness and uniqueness of its terroir.

About the estate:

Since the 1970s, this certified organic estate has been one of the jewels in the appellation's crown, appearing in the Guide with unfailing regularity. Boasting a magnificent terroir of 70 small schist plots (58 hectares) that sculpt the landscape, it now benefits from the expertise of the younger generation, inherited from grandfather Jean and father Bernard Vidal, both former presidents of the appellation.

About wine:

Tasted blind. The nose is very appealing, and the wine is equally charming. It is both succulent and deeply woody, with notes of undergrowth. It offers lush layers of wilted rose petals, plums, humus, fallen leaves, fresh wood, and the sweetness of black cherries. The tannins are abundant but fine and long. This is an intense and concentrated wine that carries itself with grace and dignity.
