At its peak of maturity, this 2023 Faugères—straightforward and moderately full-bodied—unfolds with a velvety, intensely juicy texture and deliciously rich fruit, supported by a fresh structure with hints of graphite and a peppery note that lingers on the finish. Ready to drink now, this beautiful terroir wine pairs wonderfully with Cévennes lamb shanks braised in thyme juice. Rating: 4.2.
