"Superb balance for this vibrant vintage, with rare elegance."

Organically grown and vinified with respect for nature, this lovely Clos Maïa white wine offers notes of white peach and acacia blossom, subtly enhanced by hints of aniseed. The palate is finely crafted, with superb precision. Elegant and balanced, this wine has a lovely liveliness, ending with a long, mineral finish that is deliciously salty.

Wine rating (2026 guide) 91/100 (2023 vintage)

Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

After learning the ropes from some of the region's leading winemakers, notably Olivier Jullien, Géraldine Laval settled in 2009 on high-altitude plots in the Terrasses du Larzac, in the Poujols and Lauroux area, in the far north-west of the appellation. This small 6-hectare estate benefits from a plot of mature vines. A talented and passionate winemaker, Géraldine Laval expresses the purity, tension, and integrity of her terroirs with precision and sensitivity. The estate has managed the 2021 vintage well and presents a very balanced range.
