Wine rated (2027 guide) 92/100
Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
The 2024 white is still in its early stages: it has lovely fruit intensity and minerality.
About the estate:
After learning the trade from leading winemakers in the region—most notably Olivier Jullien—Géraldine Laval established her estate in 2009 on high-altitude plots in the Terrasses du Larzac, in the Poujols and Lauroux area, in the far northwest of the appellation. This small 6-hectare estate benefits from a vineyard layout composed of mature vines. A talented and passionate winemaker, Géraldine Laval expresses the purity, tension, and integrity of her terroirs with precision and sensitivity. The estate handled the 2021 vintage well and presents a very well-balanced lineup.
