"The vintage that beat the legendary Petrus in London in 2004 during a memorable blind tasting of the 1999 vintage!"

Made from carefully selected Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, this grand cuvée benefits from an exceptionally long aging period to refine its character. The 2019 vintage is already very approachable, with a beautiful openness and elegant tannins. Decant several hours before serving or cellar for a few years.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 90/100

About wine:

A dense, concentrated, and generous blend of Merlot and Petit Verdot. Aromas of dark plums, wet stones, grilled meat, baking spices, and undergrowth. It is full-bodied with silky tannins. Rich and generous, with lots of berry, dark chocolate, and spice character. Chewy and concentrated. Made from organically grown grapes.

Vert de Vin

Wine rated (2024 guide) 90/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)

About wine:

The wine has a beautiful intense ruby color. The nose is fresh and fruity with a slight reduction. There are notes of red fruits such as small cherries, but there are also spices in the background such as pepper and nutmeg. The second nose opens with more fruit and a lovely freshness accompanied by a touch of acidity. The palate is fresh and fruity with notes of cherry, wild strawberry, and crisp blackberry. The tannins are intense with a hint of licorice. The finish is juicy with strawberry, plum, and fresh fig.
