Rated estate (2025 guide) Alexis Goujard Selection

About the estate:

In 1998, Roger Mézy replanted 3.5 hectares of vines on the beautiful terroir of the Triadou commune for his son Frédéric, then a physics and chemistry student with a passion for vines and wine. Frédéric went on to take over the estate, soon joined by his wife Pauline. Following various acquisitions, including several old plots, the estate now spans 58 hectares, spread across different sectors of the Pic-Saint-Loup appellation and cultivated using biodynamic practices since 2007. The geological variations—limestone scree, marl, and rounded pebbles—allow for creative blending. The pronounced oakiness and aggressive extraction of the early days are a thing of the past; aging is now much more balanced, the wines are easier to drink, and the textures are finer.
