"Let yourself be captivated by its delicate aroma with floral notes"
Grown at high altitude, the Haute-Vallée Chardonnay benefits from maritime influences that lend it freshness and a delicate, elegant bouquet. The palate is supple and rich, revealing notes of vanilla and pepper, along with white fruits and citrus. A great Languedoc Chardonnay with a touch of the Pyrenees!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
The Sieur d’Arques cooperative is Limoux’s leading economic player, marketing 16 million bottles. A pioneer in single-vineyard selection, it has been committed to a quality-driven approach for twenty years and continues to produce exceptionally well-balanced vintages. The range of “Toques-et-Cloche” white wines, made from Chardonnay grapes sourced from the four Limoux terroirs, is aged in barrels in the Burgundian style with bâtonnage, resulting in generous, charming, and perfectly balanced wines. A lovely range of high-quality sparkling wines perfectly complements the winery’s entire portfolio. Its consistent quality makes it a true flagship for the appellation.

About the estate:
The Sieur d'Arques wine cooperative is a key player in the Limoux wine region, where it accounts for approximately 60% of production. Founded in 1946, it now brings together some 205 members and owns a vast vineyard of 1,800 hectares spread across more than 40 municipalities, enabling it to conduct rigorous plot-by-plot selection across a wide variety of terroirs. Its Toques et Clochers auction, established in 1990, has given Limoux a renewed sense of prominence and drawn attention to its still wines.

About the wine:
Upon opening, the nose is fairly closed, with only a few toasty notes from the aging process coming through. The palate is full-bodied and fairly round, with citrus notes on the finish. The finish offers acidity and freshness.
