"This deeply Languedoc-style and authentic wine showcases the uniqueness of forgotten grape varieties."

A full-bodied wine with aromas of raspberry, morello cherry, and pomegranate, accented by a hint of licorice and garrigue. On the palate, it is full-bodied with silky tannins, carried by vibrant fruit and lovely freshness. This wine reveals, with great originality, all the richness of the South blended with a very refined mouthfeel.

Wine rated (2025 guide) 93/100 (2018 vintage)

Rated estate (2026 guide) 1*Star (Rising stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a good standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

This unique estate, located in the picturesque setting of the Siran plateau, is run by Cécile Boyer-Domergue, who is always assisted by her mother, Patricia. Their wines are the result of work carried out with exemplary integrity, focused on cultivating rare or forgotten grape varieties. The fruit on the nose is always slightly candied, while on the palate the wines display rare elegance and great finesse of texture, particularly the pure Cinsaults. The top vintages are sold only when they have reached their peak. The estate produces a lovely dry white made from forgotten varieties—Araignan Blanc, Riveyrenc Blanc, and Riveyrenc Gris—as well as a passito wine, Erme, in the spirit of the “noble wines” once produced in the Minervois. We must commend the uniqueness and strength of this approach—both winemaking and commemorative—which serves as a vital point of reference, not only for the Minervois but for the entire Languedoc region.
